Actor Plus MK5 is the latest version of the original Actor Plus. It comes with an array of smart upgrades and features that improve performance, sturdiness and overall usability. You will immediately notice some of the new big highlights like the Vulcan style one-handed remote which floats and is fully waterproof to IP67 standards, along with the elevated lighting. All of this comes to you neatly stored and protected, in a sturdy hard shell suitcase for easy and safe transport.

GPS - POS System -                                                                                                   

This model has upgraded GPS technology, allowing you to connect with up to 60 satellites, compared to the previous 12 and is accurate to within 1mt. This is a huge increase in both precision and reliability, when navigating to your saved waypoints. You can save up to 16 different locations on the remote handset and is very easy to select. When you choose full autopilot, it navigates to your selected waypoint, then drops your rig and bait and automatically returns to base. What could be smarter than that, with hands free operation eliminating any guesswork or manual controlling. We like to call this feature "Auto Feeding" Alternatively, you can navigate to your saved location without the "Auto Feeding" engaged, for different scenarios. These two features alone will transform your fishing at night or in low light conditions. All features are controlled directly from the remote and negate the need for phones, tablets and apps. Set auto forward time of 1-3 minutes or specify a straight navigation distance, for hands free operation. Once set to auto-forward, it keeps a straight trajectory. All other functions are easily controlled from the one handed remote. Precision, convenience and reliability at your finger tips, every time. 

The Anti-Lost function deserves a separate mention. If the battery runs low, signal is lost, or the boat exceeds 600mts from the home / base point, it will automatically return to safety.

Sonar System -

The new and improved Actor Plus MK5 Sonar system comes with the Boatman dual-frequency SN4 2.0 fish finder along with it's 2.4G sonar antenna. It operates on a double frequency of 83KHZ and 200KHZ.A. A built in "chirp function" is provided as standard, making the menu even more convenient.

Boatman sonar is impressively accurate and easily comparable to other high end devices. One major advantage is it features its own dedicated screen which attaches directly to the top of the remote. This keeps everything compact and eliminates the need for apps, signal boosters, or mobile devices. The screen displays real time sonar readings, as well as water depth and temperature, which can be toggled between feet/meters and °C/°F depending on your preferences. The sonar has an impressive range of up to 300 meters, with a depth detection range from 2.5 ft to 100 ft. While it does include a fish finder function, it’s worth noting that accurate fish detection requires a minimum depth of around 8–9 feet. We believe sonar is best used for locating underwater features rather than individual fish and this is where our sonar really shines. Easily identifying drop-offs, clear patches, gravel bars, or weed-free areas can significantly improve your catch results.  A very important point is,  the sonar provides live, real-time data. Unlike towed sonars where the reading you see isn't directly beneath the boat, but slightly behind it, our sonar is fixed to the boat. This means what you see on screen is exactly what’s underneath in real time, allowing for far more precise bait or rig placement.

FEATURES -

All of the proven design features of the original Actor Plus, are still there.....Like the large central hopper with a 3kg capacity, which consists of 2 bomb bay doors that can be opened individually or together. There is also a hook release on the rear and metal propellors. The boat will come with a hopper cover to use when fishing with PVA bags in the rain. The battery life gives 2.5 hours of constant use with the 12Ah battery supplied. The new single handed remote allows you to hold your rod whilst taking the line out in the boat, which is very handy for feeling the lead down. It comes with the built-in Compass feature which ensures it sails straight every time, even in choppy conditions and also ensures the correct boat symbol orientation on the remote screen. This is known as Real Time Boat Direction, which is also achieved when you set the boats bow direction. Compass calibration is quick and simple with a single button press, however this has already been set at the factory. The Actor Plus MK5 has a screwed 2 piece hull, which makes it easier to service in the future, which must be carried out only by Anglers World during the first 12 months.
