Swivel leads must now be the most popular lead type for the modern carp angler, mainly due to their versatility and also due to the popularity of the Lead Clip type system. Korda swivel leads have certain common features which combine to make what we think are best swivel leads money can buy, after all if they weren't we wouldn't use them.

Basically anywhere you need more grip, like rivers, on the sides of bars, marginal slopes, boating out extreme range.

We have recorded that you can get the same grip with a 2oz Grippa as you can with a 3oz Swivel Pear Lead, so with that in mind you can get away with a smaller lead so do the same job which is an advantage when fishing in rivers, also a smaller lead makes a smaller splash so we like using them for casting to gently sloping island margins where a round lead can roll down.
